The multi-platinum act White Zombie’ s Sean Yseult has resided in New Orleans for the past fifteen years. Originally a photo major at Parsons School of Design NYC, she pays tribute to her love of New Orleans history and it’s darker side through her work. Local landscapes, characters, friends and celebrities paint a picture of a place lost in time with a haunting beauty.
Ms. Yseult is also the author of “I’m In The Band”, a book compiled of her photos and stories
from White Zombie's eleven years on the road, released by Soft Skull Press.

It's been said that if those that don't learn from history are destined to repeat it. Well, if that's the case you will want to do your damnedest not to learn anything on Jan 27th so that you can see these acts over and over again!
Come journey through some of the darkest eras of history and meet some of the most dastardly folks to ever cross anyone's path with the Storyville Starlettes as we present to you a night of Horrible Histories!
Featuring acts by:
*Kali!
*Natasha Fiore!
*May Hemmer!
*Chesty S'more!
Special guest: VeVe laRoux!
And guest MC: Nick Fox!
See the Spanish Inquisition as you've never seen it before! Party with some of the deadliest villainesses from B.C. and beyond! Mourn the loss of Storyville! All of this will be happening and so much more!
And to finish it all off, we have the absinthe-drenched, dark cabaret stylings of Morella and the Wheels of If.
Doors at 10. Show at 11.

Oedipus: Category 5 is an adaptation of Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex, placing the story in a post-Katrina political and psychological context. It will be performed as a five year commemoration to the storm and its aftermath. The play is designed to capture the ageless, archetypal quality of sacred Greek drama combined with its temporal relevance to both Katrina and the current oil spill. “Its really an existential story about the human experience of confronting forces that are out of our control,” says author/director, David O’Donaghue, a psychologist and philosopher.
Please join us for this independently produced, multi-media interpretation of the timeless Greek Tragedy, Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, featuring original compositional music by Aeryk Laws and Morella & The Wheels Of If.
